Science Communication Program Study of Bhayangkara University Surabaya Film is a form of mass communication which can be watched a whole at one time and has a central message. The purpose of the research was to know the value of the educational role contained in Keluarga Cemara film. The research used content analysis method. The research was included a descriptive qualitative. The data collection used Capturing Scene, took images from the video trailer “Keluarga Cemara” and looked for related information with the research problems both from books, internet, news papers and other sources. The data analysis was a descriptive qualitative, with stages and categories, sorting and selecting the data. The research result showed the content terms of the message to be conveyed by the characters in Keluarga Cemara film could be categorized into 3 namely religious value, educational moral value, and social value such as avoiding debt behavior, not touching the opposite sex and always grateful (religious value) , the head of the family is obliged to make a living, patient and sincere when receive ordeal and children must help and obey their parents (educational moral value) and at last the attitude of responsibility must be upheld, people must not denounce the others or friends and forgive each other (social value)
